Welcome to the 2008 Needham Golf Club season.

We hope you and your families had a nice winter and are ready for a great golf season.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new members at Needham Golf Club.  We hope you will find that     NGC is a nice place to play golf and socialize with your friends.

One of the best ways to get to meet existing members at NGC is to participate in some of the available tournaments including the Wednesday Night Fights.

In an effort to effectively maintain course traffic, please be sure to check in with the Pro Shop prior to teeing off. Always play without delay. Nine holes of golf should be completed in 2 hours and 10 minutes. Be ready to play when it is your turn. Pace of play was a point of emphasis with the USGA last year. This year the USGA will be focusing on Etiquette and the spirit of the game. We will highlight some of these points in this booklet for you.

Tournament formats, rules, and estimated entry fees are included in this booklet.  Additional information will be posted prior to each tournament sign up.

All play will be from “Tournament Tee Markers”.  These tee markers may vary from flight to flight within each tournament. Please check with the Pro Shop and Golf Committee before teeing it up. It is understood any time we refer to handicaps in this booklet, we are referring to your handicap, trend or adjusted handicap, whichever is lower.

Payment Policy for All Tournaments

Please respect that there is a payment deadline for all tournaments. It is important that all members pay promptly to avoid getting shutout.

Remember, it is a Committee decision that no one will be considered signed up for any Major Tournament until you have paid for yourself or your team through the Pro Shop.

The Pro Shop accepting your name in no way constitutes sign up if payment is not included at the same time.
